Toby Carvery Macclesfield is bringing the holiday spirit to life with a special Christmas Giving Tree initiative in support of the Children’s Ward at Macclesfield District General Hospital.
The heartwarming campaign invites the community to grab a tag from the tree, purchase a gift, and return it closer to Christmas.
Staff from Toby Carvery will then deliver the presents to the children who will be spending the festive season in hospital, ensuring they experience the joy and magic of Christmas despite being away from home.
Georgie Bramhall, Supervisor at Toby Carvery Macclesfield said, ‘At Toby Carvery Macclesfield this year we wanted to do something special to spread our christmas spirit! That’s why we chose to do a giving tree for the young patients at Macclesfield hospital. It’s been wonderful to see how many people have supported this cause and how many have taken the time to buy the gifts. It’s a beautiful reminder of how special christmas is and how much a community can help each other out’.
East Cheshire NHS Charity’s Fundraising and Events Manager, Lily Preston, said: “The support from Toby Carvery and the local community is truly heartwarming.
“These gifts will bring much-needed joy and comfort to the children in our care during the festive period, and we are incredibly grateful for everyone’s generosity so far.”
To get involved, simply visit Toby Carvery Macclesfield, located on London Rd, Adlington, pick a tag from the Giving Tree, and return with your gift.
