Relocation of community services in Poynton

As part of the trust’s vision to further integrate primary care and community services, a number of East Cheshire community services have been successfully relocated from Priorsleigh Medical Centre in Poynton to a new, shared workspace at McIlvride Medical practice, also in Poynton.

Services which have been relocated are:

• Podiatry
• Community Midwifery
• Nurse-led Heart Failure clinics
• Audiology (adult and paediatric)
• Paediatric Speech & Language Therapy
• Some Outpatient Physiotherapy

Community Nursing and Therapies as well as some outpatient physiotherapy clinics remain at Priorsleigh.

Trust community services have worked with primary care colleagues to deliver a seamless transition, ensuring services continue to be delivered locally in Poynton with minimal disruption to patient care.
