Demolition works at Congleton War Memorial Hospital

29 October 2024

Please note, demolition works will be commencing on Thursday 31st October at Congleton War Memorial Hospital as work progresses on the new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) at the site.

Initial work will involve the demolition of Rose Cottage between 31st October and 8th November, as identified in orange on the aerial image - this will impact access to the site at the rear entrance and a small area of parking directly adjacent (identified in green). Alternative arrangements have been made for deliveries and collections on site during this time.

We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we work to improve our diagnostic services and bring them closer to home for people in Congleton and its surrounding areas.

The new CDC will deliver various diagnostic services including imaging; X-ray and Non-Obstetric Ultrasound (NOUS); and Cardio-Respiratory physiological testing such as Electrocardiography (ECG), Echocardiograms and other physiological tests.
